OUR STORY
Braiding and styling hair has always been my passion. It started with braiding my younger sister's hair at home, but I began accepting clients in sixth form. Seeking to deepen my knowledge, I pursued further education in hair and beauty in Bristol. After relocating to Cardiff for university in September 2020, I gained salon experience for 13 months. Returning to Bristol, I secured a position at another salon for over a year, gaining mentorship and valuable experience. However, my drive and ambition led me to pursue my dream of owning my own salon. With determination and experience, I embarked on this exciting new chapter in my career.

Preparation for your appointment

Clean hair
Arrive at your appointment with your hair properly washed, prepared and free of any products (including oils and leave in conditioners) unless alternative arrangements have been made with us in advance for a washing service. Additional charges may be incurred if your hair is not detangled and properly blow dried.

Braiding hair
All clients must provide their own braiding hair unless alternative arrangements have been made with us. All braiding hair must be pre stretched hair. Failure to do so will result in additional charges. If you are unable to provide your own braiding hair please inform us in advance to ensure that we make any necessary arrangements.

Plus ones
For the comfort and privacy of all our clients, please do not bring any additional guest to your appointments unless they have a scheduled service booked. However, if you require assistance or have special circumstances that necessitate accompaniment please let us know so we can make arrangements.

Behaviour
We kindly request that everyone refrains from engaging in antisocial behaviour during your time with us. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour including loud or offensive language, harassment or discrimination of any kind towards our staff and clients will not be tolerated. We are committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
OUR POLICIES

Deposits:
To ensure reliability and commitment , we require all clients to pay a non refundable deposit of at least 20% to secure your appointment. This helps to minimise no shows, last minute cancellations and accommodates other clients who may be waiting for an appointment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in upholding this policy, which ultimately allows us to provide the best experience possible for all our clients.

Lateness:
We value your time as much as we do ours. We kindly request that all clients arrive on time for their appointments. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may happen sometimes which is why we give all our clients a 10 minute grace period. After this time, you will be charged £1 for every minute that you are late and appointments will be automatically cancelled after 20 minutes as there will not be enough time to carry out the service.

Cancellation
We understand that life can be unpredictable and sometimes cancellations are unavoidable. However, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. This provides us the opportunity to offer the time slot to another client who may be on our waiting list. In the event of a late cancellation or no show you will be charged upfront on your future appointments.

Emergency appointments
In the event of emergency bookings there will be an additional charge of £20. This fee only applies to slots that do not show up on our online booking site. To secure your emergency appointment full payments of the service must be paid upfront.
Hair length
If your hair is longer than shoulder length (when blow dried), there will be an additional charge on your bill. If you know this applies to you please do let us know before the appointment as it does take longer to braid your hair.
